You can also select from a myriad of slide effects. For each slide, this can be done for when the slide comes in to the slideshow, and also when it goes out of the slideshow. If the out effect for a slide is different than the in effect for the next slide, a crossfaded intermediate slide will be shown.

Note that you can quickly change the effect properties for all slides by using the appropriate slide wizards from the Wizards menu.
