Let's start fresh with a new photo album. The first step would be to select the base path. This is a very important step. Photokeeper does not store photos in the .phka photo album; it maintains a reference to them. All scaling, cropping, rotation, is all done dynamically when the album loads, preserving the original photos.

The Base Path is the path to the folder where your album will be stored. All photos used in an album should be in this folder, or in subfolder of this folder. Otherwise you will not be able to reallocate the album to another drive and preserve the links. And of course, you must not delete your photos, as the album refers to those files.

To select this folder, click the triangle button just above the Photos List Control.
