Let's say you want to change the colour of the background. Easy. Select the Arrow Tool and double click on the background of the page. Alternatively you can also right click on the page and select Properties. When the Page Properties dialog box pops up, you can select the colour of the background by clicking on the colour swatch next to the Just Use This Solid Colour radio button. Then click Ok.
