Overview
Photokeeper is great for applying lighting filters to your photos, as well as shading effects (shadows) on the pages of your album based on the elements on those pages. All lighting effects are Non-Destructive. For information on shading please see Shading.
Lighting effects can be applied to photos, Textures and Surfaces. To apply lighting effects simply select the lighter tool, left click the photo you want to light and move the mouse around. Moving the mouse up increases brightness, moving down decreases brightness. Moving the mouse left decreases contrast, moving right increases contrast. If you click the photo with the middle button, moving the mouse up and down adjusts the sharpness. Moving the mouse left and right adjusts the saturation.
Usage
To change lighting settings simply right click the photo you want to light and use the actions found in the sub-menu to alter the lighting settings. If you right click and select any of the “Adjust field” actions the lighter tool will bind that lighting change to the mouse movement as soon as you select the action. For example if you right click your photo and select “Adjust Red”, any vertical mouse movement will alter the red intensity of your photo.
Holding down the middle button, and moving the mouse up and down adjusts the sharpness up and down. Moving the mouse left and right adjusts the saturation.
